**Job Title: Cables Assembler** Job Description As a Cables Assembler, you will perform a variety of routine mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of your own work and others' to ensure accuracy, using hand tools and power tools to assemble products based on blueprints. This role also involves applying process specifications within an assigned cell and recording production time and quantity data. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to actively demonstrate all safety policies and procedures. Additionally, openness to cross-training is encouraged. Responsibilities + Perform routine mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations. + Conduct inspections to ensure correctness of assembly work. + Use hand tools and power tools, including screwdrivers and crimpers, to assemble products based on blueprints. + Apply process specifications governing product production within an assigned cell. + Record production time and quantity data. + Actively demonstrate and adhere to safety policies and procedures. + Participate in cross-training opportunities. Essential Skills + At least 1 year of assembly experience. + Ability to read and communicate in English. + High School Diploma required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in aerospace is a plus but not required. + BA/BS required if intending to pursue leadership roles. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing environment that may be occasionally loud. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, with 1st shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM or 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. The assignment is 90 working days temp-to-hire, approximately 4 months, with high emphasis on attendance and tenure.
