Job Description:

Perform cable assembly tasks for highly complex and critical end use applications. Perform high quality and detailed tasks ensuring high first pass yield and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret work instructions and process procedures.Read and understand blueprints and drawingsPerform basic cable assembly process steps including such tasks as wire prep, wire stripping, routing, clean-up and close out. Build quality into the product – increase first pass yield, minimize rework and minimize scrap. Support process improvements and participate in actively providing solutions. Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. Operate a variety of equipment to fulfill manufacturing processes Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Related Experience: Combination Technician, Installation and Repair Technician (I and R Technician), Lineman, Service Technician, Cable Splicer, Cable Technician, Cable Television Technician (Cable TV Tech), Field Service Technician, Installer, Outside Plant Technician
