Each internship opportunity will occur during the summer months, (11 weeks), focused on a specific functional area, and will provide the candidate with a depth experience within the area, culminating in a project presentation to functional leaders. Each intern will work closely with a coach who will meet regularly to discuss project progress, provide direction and ongoing feedback. In addition, each intern will attend a lunch series which will provide a cross-functional view into the organization and give the interns exposure to senior leadership. There will be a robust series of events that include an in store-experience, hack day, and capstone presentation. The interns will also have the experience of touring a store and learning about our distribution systems. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate “C-Shopper Intern” to join the C-Shopper Team. This new role is part of a larger strategic initiative for our Team. The mission is to embed Best-in-Class methodologies for analytics to discover meaningful customer Insights for our Vendors & Merchant Users of C-Shopper. You will research best deliverables & methodologies to organize & publish our growing array of intellectual properties for implementation by our broader C-Shopper Team. Acting as the primary individual producer, you will play a pivotal role in organizing & accelerating the distribution of Best Practices and Methodologies across our Team, creating a more productive & balanced environment for Users & our C-Shopper Team. Responsibilities: + Actively interview/shadow C-Shopper Team members, identify, & categorize the Best Methodologies used by either Vendors and/or Merchants (via C-Shopper Team) + Create a process to keep the analysts updated on upcoming data fixes and enhancements + Review and update existing training exercises and decks + Produce a well-structured set of documents for new analyst joining the team to help them learn C-Shopper as well as 7Eleven business + Respond to questions, facilitate discussions, and address Team feedback + Encourage active participation, content sharing, and deeper engagement from Team members + Create a process for organizing & managing Team and Users’ feedback that ensures concerns are addressed appropriately Qualifications: + Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or Data Analytics, Strategy, or related field + Proficiency in basic retailer practices, PowerPoint and analytics tools preferred + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Experience collaborating with team members in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, process-oriented environment + Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
