C&B Consultant

The C&B Consultant partners with HR and business stakeholders to manage competitive total reward & recognition programs. This role provides analytical insights, ensures market competitiveness and internal equity, supports annual reward cycles, and ensures compliance with relevant labor and tax regulations. Core focuses on designing, analyzing, and managing incentive schemes that drive performance and align with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Incentive Scheme Design & Governance (Core Focus) Translate business strategy and performance objectives into clear incentive mechanicsPartner with Finance and business leaders to ensure incentive affordability, Modeling, Simulation, ROI, and alignment with financial targets.Develop and maintain incentive plan rules, documentation, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and audit readiness.Assess incentive effectiveness through post-cycle reviews, identifying behavioral outcomes, pay-for-performance alignment, and improvement opportunities.Validate incentive calculations and payouts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to plan rules.Identify and resolve issues related to eligibility, proration, exceptions, and data discrepancies.Data Analysis & Insights (Critical Capability)Analyze large and complex HR and performance datasets to generate insights on incentives effectivenessDevelop dashboards and reports to support decision-making by HR, Finance, and leadership.Conduct trend and variance analysis to identify risks such as overpayment, underperformance, pay compression, or misaligned incentives.Apply analytical rigor to support recommendations on incentive redesign, policy changes, and investment priorities.Benefits/Recognition Administration & Vendor Management (as applicable)Support design and administration of core benefits and recognition programs (e.g., medical, life insurance, retirement, wellness, long service award and annual award).Liaise with brokers/vendors to manage programs for service levels and employee experience improvements.Stakeholder Management & ConsultingProvide day-to-day consultative support to HRBPs and business leaders on reward topics.Translate complex reward concepts into practical guidance for managers and employees.Support reward-related projects such as harmonization, M&A integration, or new policy rollouts.Compliance, Controls & GovernanceEnsure compensation and benefits practices align with relevant labor, tax, and data privacy requirements.Support internal controls, audit requests, and documentation for policy compliance and program governance.Maintain process SOPs and contribute to continuous improvements and standardization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, Statistics, or related field.3–5 years of hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Analytics, or related HR CoE rolesExperience working in matrix organizations and supporting multiple functions or regionsStrong data analytics capability; experience with HRIS tools (e.g., Workday)Advanced Excel / Power BI and basic statistical knowledge are a plusStrong consulting mindset: ability to influence and advise stakeholders with sound judgment.High attention to detail, strong confidentiality, and integrity handling sensitive pay/benefits data.Project management capability: manage timelines, dependencies, and multiple deliverables.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
