Your Role: Own the Challenge
We are looking for a passionate and experienced C#/.NET Developer to join our team working on B&R’s OPC UA FX technology. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Component Owner and an agile development team to shape the future of industrial communication. You’ll take ownership of feature analysis, design, implementation, and testing—ensuring robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions. As part of our Connectivity R&D Group, you'll contribute to developing technology that helps power modern automation systems.

Collaborate with the development team to plan bi-weekly sprints & quarterly program increments and analyze, design, and implement new features for our OPC UA FX Technology Package with C# and .NET
Contribute to the new Next Gen platform development, when required, with modern web-based technologies like TypeScript and React.js
Actively share your own ideas and proposals to improve product functionality, architecture & quality and apply design patterns and best practices to ensure maintainability and extensibility
Improve code quality through rigorous adherence to coding standards, comprehensive documentation, and automated testing
What it takes to Run what runs the world
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
7+ years of professional experience in software development preferred
Strong professional experience in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core building enterprise-grade products; familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript and Node.js is a definite plus
Proficiency in unit testing, static code analysis, and code reviews
Understanding of networking fundamentals (ISO/OSI model, TCP/IP, etc.)
Prior knowledge of industrial automation, OPC UA, and TSN is a strong plus
Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Visual Studio/VS Code
Language skills: English (B2); German language skills are a plus
