BVG Foreman, Landscape
**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **Job Summary** + The BVG Landscape Foreman oversees the installation of landscape upgrades for commercial maintenance accounts. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Conduct weekly job site inspections and complete job site checklists + Oversee installation of landscape, irrigation, and site development materials + Schedule and coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment + Ensure crew productivity, quality control, and compliance with safety protocols + Assist in job scheduling and manage coordination with subcontractors + Lead weekly tailgate safety meetings and ensure employee attendance + Enforce on-site safety practices, including traffic hazard reviews, hard hat and safety gear checks, underground utility alerts and trade hazard evaluations, and general public safety assessments + Maintain hazardous communication folders with chemical safety forms + Report unsafe behavior or incidents to the Superintendent and Safety Office + Submit accident reports in accordance with company policy + Safeguard company assets and ensure proper use of materials and tools + Support internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure proper segregation of duties + Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and comply with all laws, regulations, and company ethics policies + Periodically reconcile physical assets with accounting records **Education and Experience:** + Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or landscape installation + Proven leadership experience managing crews on active job sites + Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints + Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment + Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic + Effective oral and written communication skills + Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred + First Aid certification (or ability to become certified) **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.) + Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.) + Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day **Work Environment:** + Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic + Work near or about natural bodies of water + Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required) + Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit + Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time **_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._** **_This job description is subject to change at any time._** **_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
