**Job Description:**
Position Summary
The Procurement Specialist for Mountain Manufacturing’s Coda Coffee/Coda Nut division supports day-to-day purchasing, vendor coordination, contract administration, and logistics. The primary focus is on transactional and replenishment buying—ensuring inventory availability, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. Over time, this role provides the opportunity to develop into a more strategic sourcing position, including deeper involvement in supplier negotiations, category management, and impact projects. This is a collaborative role, working closely with Operations, Finance, and Sales and requires excellent communication skills.
Position Responsibilities
Procurement Support
+ Process and track purchase orders in the ERP system (e.g., NetSuite)
+ Maintain price lists, contract records, and renewal timelines
+ Monitor stock levels and trigger replenishment orders as needed
+ Support vendor quote collection and basic bid comparisons
+ Assist with product commercialization process
Operations & Logistics
+ Coordinate inbound deliveries and ensure documentation accuracy
+ Track shipments, receipts, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers
+ Communicate with warehouse and production teams on timing and demand needs
Data & Planning
+ Maintain procurement calendars, shipment trackers, and replenishment logs
+ Keep supplier scorecards updated with pricing, quality, and delivery data
+ Generate routine procurement reports and dashboards for the Buyer and Company Leadership
Sustainability & Compliance
+ Support supplier documentation for compliance and certifications
+ Assist with data collection for sustainability and impact reporting
+ Participate in early stages of traceability and living income projects, with opportunity for greater involvement as the role develops

**Required Qualifications:**
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain
• Familiarity with raw ingredients or agricultural products (coffee, nuts, or confections a plus)
• ERP system experience (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Excel proficiency for data tracking and reporting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to conduct basic inventory functions including cycle counts
