We are looking for a dedicated Buyer/Purchasing 3 to join our team. In this role, you will support the Dealer Service Tool Procurement and Product teams by maintaining parts and supplier relationships. You will also manage quoting, price changes, invoice discrepancies, and perform detailed Excel reporting, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
+ Support the Dealer Service Tool Procurement and Product teams with maintenance of parts and suppliers.
+ Manage quoting, price changes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
+ Handle a high volume of emails and evaluate source changes.
+ Perform root cause corrective action of purchasing and supply chain issues.
+ Send requests for quotations and execute price changes.
+ Resolve invoice price discrepancies.
+ Answer a variety of email requests efficiently.
+ Generate and manage ad-hoc reports.
Essential Skills
+ 5-7 years of purchasing experience.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
+ Internship experience is considered valuable.
+ Experience in roles such as Junior Buyer, Sourcing Analyst, Purchasing Analyst, or Supply Chain Analyst is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position requires handling a high volume of emails and managing tasks that involve analytical thinking and organization. You will be working with Excel reports and will need to adapt to changing sources and pricing in a dynamic environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Morton, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
