**Job Summary** We are looking for a Buyer who will be responsible for the purchasing orders. The role will coordinate with teams from local suppliers to Qingpu Plant. If you possess the requirements we are seeking for, this exciting role is for you! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Purchase Orders-Issues purchase orders to qualified suppliers selected for their capabilities to meet company’s needs .Execute messages to re-schedule in ,re-schedule out and cancelations messages of purchase order to maintain a correct flow of material through the plant. + Follow the approval channel to buy low volume items(D items). + Accurate Database-Assures accurate database by supplier lead-times ,safety stock, ABCD code. Keep promises dates updated in MRP system. + Assure Availability-Assures material availability to support the manufacturing process by placing sub-contract orders and purchase orders to qualified suppliers in response to MRP action notices. + Ship Materials-Estimate freight costs to ship material at the most convenient way avoid shortages in production. + Inventory Management-Assures that Safety Stock levels are in target. + Discrepant Material & Certification Requirements-Coordinates discrepant material and certification requirements consistent with policy and delivery schedules. + Supplier Management -Follow-up with suppliers as necessary, to resolve delivery problems, cost changes, or quality issues. + Monitor Supplier Performance-Monitors and acts to keep or improve supplier metrics interms of price, lead-times, and on-time delivery. + Other duties assigned. **Who You Are:** You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches. **For This Role, You Will Need:** ●Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. ●At least 3 years working experience in the field of material planning in multinational manufacturing company. ●Purchasing experience desirable as buyer or planner buyer. ●Able to communicate in spoken and written English. ●Proficient in Microsoft Office suites and PC. ●Knowledge of buyer processes and practices or equivalent is preferred. ●Must be a self starter& self motivated ●Knowledge of MRP is preferred. ●CPIM certificated is a plus. **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** ●Flow control industries background is preferred. ●Familiar with industry standards for valves, pressure vessels and mechanical components will be added advantage. ●Presentation skill is preferred. **Our Culture& Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
