What will you do?
Develop and update detailed schedules for the production plan generated by the Master Production Scheduler.Optimize resource usage to ensure a balanced manufacturing process.Maintain manufacturing orders with valid due dates.Coordinate new product activities and projects into the detailed schedule.Distribute manufacturing and packaging schedules and communicate changes to QA documentation, manufacturing team leaders, and leaders.Negotiate and communicate effectively with all support areas to ensure efficient resource utilization.Monitor schedules to ensure completion within established Lead Times.Participate in decision-making processes regarding schedule changes.Monitor and report performance to schedule and work order completion due dates.Handle inventory levels to avoid obsolescence and ensure accuracy through the Cycle Count process.Communicate any rejection of WIP or finished goods for immediate disposition.Ensure raw materials and packaging components are available on time to support requirements.Analyze MRP action messages to ensure the timely availability of materials.Coordinate delivery schedules of blanket orders with vendors.Coordinate changes in delivery dates with vendors.Develop appropriate inventory strategies to manage adequate inventory levels.Expedite the release of materials needed to support the manufacturing plan.Handle material conversions to minimize obsolescence and align with regulatory requirements.Provide timely input to the Material Review Board (MRB).Enter and update purchase orders in the planning system to meet customer needs.Develop a priority schedule for the receiving area to optimize space utilization and compliance with the production schedule.Periodically review and validate item master data information.How will you get there?
Bachelor's degree required. Will consider combination of education and experience.3-5 years of experience in MRP II, Materials, and Production Planning in the Pharmaceutical industry is desired.Preferable but not required, Certified Production and Inventory Control Management (CPIM).
