Our **SCM Center of Excellence in Santo Domingo** is currently seeking a **Buyer Lead (Supervisor)** . We're looking for talented professionals who are passionate about supply chain, innovation, and operational excellence to join our dynamic team. **What you’ll do:** **Job Summary** The Buyer Lead is responsible for leading operational buyer processes and teams located in Pune, Budapest, and Santo Domingo, focusing on material supply planning, management, and optimization. This position plays a key role within the Materials Function of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE), reporting directly to the CoE Procurement Manage **Job Responsibilities** 1. Lead and support buyer teams to ensure efficient and timely procurement operations. 2. Drive continuous improvement in procurement KPIs and operational performance. (PO Complaince/ SOTD, Invoice Managment,Master Data Maintenece amoing others) 3. Act as the first level of escalation for procurement-related issues within the CoE. 4. Oversee and ensure the successful execution of team projects and initiatives. 5. Foster talent development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. 6.Interact with CoE Team across the Global and drive effective improvement in process. 7. Network Collaboration: – Work closely with the Network stakeholder, monitor KPIs, voice of customer through periodic meetings and ensuring timely resolution to stakeholder queries/feedback etc. **Qualifications:** **Education level required** + Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical), Business Administration / International Business, Finance, or similar fields **Years and area of experience required** + Minimum 5-7 years of experience in SCM related positions (planning, customer service, procurement) + Preferable experience at the manufacturing area. **Technical knowledge** + Advanced PC skills (SAP, MAPICS , KINAXIS , AS400, VISTA /Spanish). + Advanced ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies. + Advanced English & Desirable: Portuguese + Deep understanding of supply planning and procurement processes **Skills:** **Soft skills** + Strong ability to engage with operational leadership + Effective communication on different organizational levels + Analytical skills + Predictive analytics + Process improvement mindset **Competencies** : Thinks and Acts Strategically, Gets Results Through Self and Others, Build Organizational Capability \#LI-CR1 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
