Buyer/Inventory Management Specialist

*****While this role is listed in Royce City, TX, the employee will spend half of their time in Royce City and the other half in our Dallas, TX Headquarters Offices.*****
The Buyer/Inventory Management Specialist role will require effective and efficient management of supply related crisis. This role will also coordinate the parts ordering, tracking of vendor payments & receipt process, and inventory management supporting the dispensing buildout teams. It is involved, but not limited to, performing a combination of: issuing POs, managing inventory, receiving, loading, counting, and tracking vendor payments.
**REQUIRED Qualifications:** -
+ High School diploma or accredited GED -
+ 4+ years of experience in Accounting/Purchasing/Inventory management-
+ Solid knowledge of Supply Chain procedures-
+ Proven ability to effectively interact with multi-functional areas-
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills-
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-
+ Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).-
+ SAP/MRP, ERP material planning experience-
- **PREFERRED Qualifications:** -
+ Previous scheduling experience-
+ Experience in purchasing chemicals, Polymers and various film and paper liners
**Job Requirements**
+ Purchase raw materials &parts for dispensing shop build outs & tolled/externally manufactured goods
+ Implement inventory control procedures and processes
+ Assure timely delivery of raw materials and parts from Suppliers-
+ Communicate risks in supply & generate recovery plans-
+ Maintain adequate stock to support production requirements & safety stock
+ Assure proper SAP MRP master data settings relevant to Lot Sizing, & Lead-times-
+ Support plant production scheduling-
+ Build and maintain relationships with S&OP and Supplier key contacts
+ Utilize and manager Capex+ system to track dispenser buildouts and budget for dispenser parts/builds
+ Provide timely forecast of critical parts to customers and suppliers-
+ Ensure proper and timely execution of Purchase orders for all Parts & Raw Materials-
+ Liaise with SGNA central purchasing team and dispensing buildout teams to ensure competitive pricing on parts and policy/procedures followed
+ Coordinate purchasing and deliveries of raw materials in accordance with demand planning
+ Coordinate the receipts of materials\supplies to control inventory levels while ensuring supply
+ Reconcile invoice issues to ensure timely payment
+ Perform frequent cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy
