About the team
ZF is offering a dynamic internship opportunity for motivated students to join our Commodity Purchasing team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, supplier management, and cost analysis within a global organization committed to innovation and sustainability. 

 

What you can look forward to as a Buyer Intern

Update internal price lists based on raw material market fluctuations. Maintain and ensure accuracy of internal reports and purchasing documentation. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on strategic sourcing requirements. Assist in onboarding new suppliers to ensure compliance with ZF standards and procedures. Support the initiation and coordination of Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes. Follow up on administrative tasks and internal documentation as needed.

 

Your profile as a Buyer Intern

Fluent in English (spoken and written) and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to work independently and proactively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word). Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. Currently pursuing or about to finish a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, International Business, or a related field. Availability during morning hours (specific schedule to be agreed).
