**Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** + Utilize MRP for the procurement of materials for production and managing supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency. + Coordinate the purchasing of materials for the assigned products consistent following the MRP requirements. + Use material replenishment methods, such as re-order points, just in time, and vendor managed safety stock. + Purchase Order Management from End to End: from placement to the vendor to Payment. + Secure and analyze quotations, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, and recommend suppliers with respect to cost, quality, and lead-time. + Resolve material shortages, which are caused by supplier delivery delays, non-conforming material, or other problems, to satisfactory resolution. Expedite emergency orders as needed. + Communicate effectively with planning and other internal and external customers to assure supply stability. + Review and adhere to metrics to monitor overall success of Procurement key performance indicators. **Education** + Minimum required education: High School Diploma/ GED + 2+ years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment. + CPM, APICS, CPIM certification a plus. + Experience in the Life Science, Medical Device industry, or regulated environments is a plus. + Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) Oracle. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a proficient knowledge of MS applications - Outlook, Power Point, Word, OneNote, Teams, Power BI. + Strong analytical skills combined with practical business sense. + Ability to thrive in a matrix and diverse cross-functional team environment. + Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a global organization, within operations and with external clients. + Agility in balancing multiple tasks within project parameters. + Ability to work independently, typically initiating own tasks with input/mentorship from manager. + Self-motivated individual who can work independently and within a team to get results **Compensation and Benefits** The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $59,400.00–$79,200.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
