Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Buyer I, where you will play a crucial role in assisting our Buying Team in expanding our product selection. You will be responsible for setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog, managing pricing, and supporting new product launches. Your role will also involve coordinating vendor relations and assisting with special projects.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in expanding product selection by setting up new vendors and items.Maintain the product catalog, including product cost, retail price, content, and images.Coordinate new product launches and vendor relations.Manage pricing and assist with special projects.Support and train as a backup to the Control Buyer.Essential SkillsHighly organized and self-motivated.Detail-oriented with strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.Understanding of data management and databases.Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.1+ year of experience in supply chain management.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.1+ years of experience in a high volume, global procurement and operations manufacturing environment.Experience managing and executing procurement needs for new product introduction programs.Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools.Basic SQL knowledge.Work Environment
This is an on-site position, requiring you to work from our office five days a week, from 8am to 5pm. You will be part of a highly demanding but collegial environment where teamwork is essential.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
