Job DescriptionYour contribution to something big:
We are looking for a Buyer with minimum 2 year of commercial purchasing experience to join our team and contribute to the development of global category strategies for material field purchasing.
Supplier & material field strategy: Independently analyze part family data, identify opportunities for consolidation and standardization, and develop and implement part family planning strategies, demonstrating a deeper understanding of supply chain optimization and cost reduction through part family management.
Ramp-up and Ramp - Down activities: Independently secure capacities with suppliers for new projects,
demonstrating a deeper understanding of supplier capabilities and leading the coordination with suppliers to ensure readiness for increased demand.
Bottleneck Management: Assist in identifying and communicating material shortages at suppliers to internal
stakeholders, supporting in the coordination of alternative sourcing options and expediting orders to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Stakeholder Management: Actively manage Stakeholders up to department level, proactively communicates topics and finds best solutions for Bosch.
What distinguishes you:
Education: Master's degree, preferably with an engineering background.
Experience and Know How: Good analytical skills. Negotiation experience is a plus.
Languages: Fluent in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
Working Style and Methods: Ability to manage business relationships with international stakeholders and suppliers.
Personality: Self-motivated and able to cope with difficult situations. Team player with flexibility. Good communication skills.
