Job Description

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that requires direct communication with suppliers, commercial discussions, negotiation exposure, and proficient management of purchase orders. The role involves tracking and closing purchase orders, handling order and shipment follow-ups, resolving delays, and maintaining accurate purchasing data in ERP or structured systems.

Responsibilities

Communicate directly with suppliers and conduct follow-ups.Engage in commercial discussions and negotiations.Create, track, and close purchase orders.Follow up on orders and shipments, managing any delays.Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP or other structured systems.

Essential Skills

Great entry - mid level opportunity for recent Supply Chain Grad1-2 years experience or an internship in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain preferredProficiency in purchase order management and negotiation.Comfortable communicating with vendors over the phoneStrong skills in Microsoft Excel.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with flexibility for working from home, although the majority of the time is expected to be spent in the office. The role is associated with a sister company of a billion-dollar firm in Saudi Arabia within the oil and gas industry.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
