Position Purpose:

Responsible for assisting personnel within Purchasing, confirming all purchase orders, invoicing customers, and processing drop ships. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors, and a wide range of company personnel in a positive and proactive manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Urgent POs- send to the warehouse and follow up on the status with the buyersPrepare daily scorecardDaily receiving exceptions recapChecking PO's for buyersItem or vendor setup/ Item update and follow-upRunning reports (meal ticket) per manager/buyer request New Item Tracking New Product Cutting TrackingPrepare sample forms for customer serviceWeekly procurement reports for buyers and CMsCOP Market PricingSteak and Seafood PricingBraveheart Pricing Maintain Inventory and cut PO's on several miscellaneous vendorsProvide support to buyers as needed when they are out of the officePerforms other related duties as assigned.
