Position Summary
The Entry‑Level Buyer supports purchasing and supply chain operations by assisting with sourcing, procurement, supplier coordination, and inventory management. This role is ideal for early‑career professionals with 1–3 years of experience or hands‑on purchasing internship exposure who are looking to grow in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the purchasing of materials, components, or services to meet business and production needs.
Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
Support buyers with supplier follow‑ups, expediting, and resolution of order discrepancies.
Analyze inventory levels and demand data to support replenishment and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
Collaborate with internal teams including planning, operations, accounting, and logistics to ensure material availability.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and support compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
Assist with supplier performance tracking, cost comparisons, and basic sourcing activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience.
Internship experience in purchasing or supply chain is a strong plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong data accuracy skills.
Experience with ERP or purchasing systems preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast‑paced environmentWork Environment
Work is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering some flexibility. The environment is an office setting with moderate noise, and occasional trips to manufacturing areas are required. Employees enjoy activities like a summer picnic and tailgating events with ice cream.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
