Description

One of canada's largest growing companies is looking for a buyer to join their procurement team. The buyers on this team are expected to rapidly become efficient in the ERP system in order to manage a demanding workload throughout the P2P process.

Day to day responsibilities:

Generate, document, issue, review and receive PO and requisitions for material orders.Maintaining purchase order integrity in line with ERP system and managing exception messages generated from ERP system.Work with the supplier quality assurance team to ensure that all vendors strictly adhere to the Quality Management SystemProvide vendor management to ensure all material and resource orders meet customer requirements and delivery expectations.Communicate inbound and outbound shipments statuses to appropriate departments and identify any potential or realized delays.Distribute procurement information to other departments and coordination of all material movements.Adher to material spend and inventory goalsIdentify new suppliers and foster positive, long-term relationships.Monitor material inventory levels and determine purchasing demands.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.65/hr.
