Job Title: Parts CoordinatorJob Description The Parts Coordinator is responsible for processing both internal and external parts orders, generating purchase orders, and supporting the field service team with timely and accurate parts fulfillment. This role involves managing inventory records, expediting critical parts, coordinating vendor returns and credits, and assisting with physical inventory counts. Additionally, the position supports warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and occasional parts delivery or pickup. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working across office, warehouse, and field environments. Responsibilities + Process emergency and routine parts orders for the technical service field team. + Handle internal and external customer parts quotes and orders. + Create and submit purchase orders based on parts needs to appropriate vendors. + Suggest parts recommendations to external customers. + Perform warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, and validating orders to ensure delivery accuracy. + Deliver and pick up parts from vendors and customers as needed, utilizing a pull truck available during work hours. + Maintain appropriate inventory records and expedite critical parts when necessary. + Process vendor return authorizations for damaged and poor quality products. + Make inventory corrections, adjustments, and price changes. + Track and maintain all core returns to vendors for credits. + Assist in bi-annual physical inventory counts. + Communicate and follow up with various vendors and customers for order updates. Essential Skills + Experience with ERP software, with 1-2 years in SAP being a plus. + Proficiency in ordering processes for emergency and routine parts orders for technical service field teams. + Ability to calculate figure amounts like discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. + Competence in making inventory corrections and counts. + Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Excel database management. + Strong procurement and customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma or GED required; A.A. Degree preferred but not mandatory. + 0-2 years minimum experience in the field or a related area. + Knowledge of Caterpillar/Waukesha engines is a plus. + Strong organizational and communication skills, particularly in vendor and customer interactions. Work Environment The work environment encompasses office, warehouse, shop, and field settings. Travel is occasionally required, and the ability to lift 50 lbs is often necessary. The role may occasionally involve visiting industrial and manufacturing settings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crescent, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
