Job Title: BuyerJob Description The Buyer professional will be responsible for purchasing materials, managing inventory, and working with suppliers to support efficient production, cost control, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities + Plan and purchase materials using MRP and pull-based systems to support production and customer demand. + Build and manage supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and performance criteria. + Maintain inventory levels, expedite orders, and resolve material shortages or discrepancies. + Support lean inventory and just-in-time practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Essential Skills + Expertise in purchasing and procurement processes. + Experience with purchase orders and ERP systems. + Ability to plan and manage inventory effectively. + Strong negotiation skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Experience in vendor management. + 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. + Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience using ERP/MRP systems for material planning and purchasing. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. + APICS/CPIM certification or international procurement experience preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
