We are seeking an Indirect Buyer to join our Supply Chain Group, focusing on Indirect and Capex Procurement at our Montvale, New Jersey corporate office. This role emphasizes purchase order and invoice processing for Indirect and Capex categories, requiring teamwork, excellent communication, and efficient transactional processing.
ResponsibilitiesSupport Indirect and Capex purchase order processing with a focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness.Maintain effective administration of the MRP/ERP systems through timely entries and daily review of critical purchasing data.Facilitate the timely purchase of goods within acceptable lead times from vendors by coordinating with Corporate and Plant Operations personnel.Expedite and ensure proper receipt of purchase orders in the ERP System.Facilitate timely processing of invoices through SAP Concur and collaborate with Accounts Payable as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with Excel, specifically Pivot tables and Vlookups.Prior experience in Analyst, Accounts Payable, or Supply Chain roles.Comfortable handling invoices and spreadsheets.Proficient in SAP, data entry, supply chain, inventory, logistics, and Microsoft Office.Experience with ERP systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing/Procurement, or Business preferred.Ability to systematically organize day-to-day work in a high-volume, dynamic environment.Ability to manage work to tight timelines and prioritize effectively.Strong communication skills for interacting professionally across all organizational levels and with external contacts.Work EnvironmentThe initial month requires onsite presence daily until fully trained. Subsequently, the role transitions to a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The schedule is flexible for bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
