Job Title: BuyerJob Description

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to building and launching our Terran R rockets. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams, you will ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with our mission to revolutionize aerospace through additive manufacturing.

ResponsibilitiesProcess purchase requests into purchase orders using ERP systems efficiently and accurately.Collaborate with internal teams to gather procurement requirements and translate them into RFQs and POs.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize value for the business.Manage supplier relationships under the guidance of Category Managers to ensure quality and reliability.Resolve procurement issues throughout the lifecycle of an order, including invoice discrepancies and delivery delays.Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.Essential SkillsProficiency in procurement and supply chain management.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Netsuite.Strong negotiation skills.Ability to create purchase orders and manage invoices.Advanced skills in Excel.At least 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in strategic sourcing and process improvement.Capability to resolve procurement issues efficiently.Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment in Long Beach.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
