We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining vendor master files and records, processing general administrative tasks, and managing the Vendor Master Inbox. This role involves setting up new vendors, updating existing vendor details, and supporting tactical procurement and business operations. Additionally, the Buyer will provide first-line system support for external supplier partners and educate employees by creating training materials.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain vendor master files and records.Process general administrative tasks as directed.Administer the Vendor Master Inbox, quickly processing requests, resolving issues, and responding to stakeholder inquiries.Set up new vendors and update current vendor details such as addresses and contact information.Report activities to support tactical procurement and business operations.Provide first-line system support for external supplier partners for data issues.Educate employees in the system and create training materials.Essential SkillsProficiency in supply chain management.Experience with ERP systems.Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.Bachelor's degree from a top supply chain program.At least 2 years of experience in the aerospace or technology industry within purchasing or supply chain.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to effectively communicate with stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills.Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Work EnvironmentThe role offers a dynamic work environment where you will engage with various technologies and collaborate with team members. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.05/hr.
