Job Title: BuyerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Planner/Buyer to manage daily scheduling and coordinate production efforts across departments. This role is crucial in meeting customer commitments and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. Responsibilities + Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules for the Machine Shop and Assembly. + Create, release, and track production orders using ERP systems, with a preference for Business Central. + Adjust schedules based on delays, shortages, or shifting priorities. + Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, and Production teams to align demand and capacity. + Support weekly S&OP meetings and generate production status reports. + Evaluate BOMs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate routing. + Contribute to the ongoing improvement of planning processes and system data integrity. Essential Skills + 1–3 years of production planning or scheduling experience. + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; experience may substitute. + ERP system experience required, preferably with Business Central or Epicor. + Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to read technical drawings and understand manufacturing workflows. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Purchasing, procurement, purchase order management, and supply chain knowledge. Work Environment This position is onsite and operates Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. George, Utah. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
