Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance, a related field, or comparable experience in lieu of degree At least 2 years of directly related experience Demonstrated knowledge of business objectives, strategies, purchasing policies, procedures and guidelines Good knowledge of assigned organizational area Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, vendors and customers Good PC-based application skills such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) Strong problem identification and resolution skills You are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:
A CPM Certification is preferred Knowledge of the supply chain management field, practices and methods. Preferred 3-5 yrs experience with product & service providers or other supplier related interfaces. Possess 2-3 years of commodity management experience. Experience dealing with contract management and negotiations.

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Buyer in Pickering or Kincardine, Ontario (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
Provide support to the Supply Chain team in the development and implementation of a Supply Chain strategy for nuclear components and services. Gathers and reports metrics to assess effectiveness of purchasing operations. Performs spend and commodity analysis. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Displays business acumen in communication with colleagues, suppliers and customers.This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
