Job Title: BuyerPosition Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team on a 5+ month contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) purchasing, strong ERP system experience, and a solid understanding of raw materials procurement.

Key Responsibilities:Execute purchasing activities for ETO projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and components.Collaborate with engineering, planning, and production teams to understand project requirements and timelines.Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.Maintain accurate purchase order data and supplier records within the ERP system.Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.Support inventory management and ensure alignment with project schedules.Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes and supplier management.Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing or ETO environment.Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.).Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) purchasing processes.Familiarity with raw materials procurement (e.g., metals, plastics, electronics) is a plus.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.Experience working in a contract or project-based manufacturing environment.Knowledge of supply chain best practices and procurement compliance standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
