What you’ll do
Interfacing with planners, purchasing materials & services (OSP) from external suppliers in order to schedule receipt of raw material to meet production demand,
Assessing supply chain capabilities upon PSI (customer requests), updating planners with expected material arrival dates
Driving key sourcing initiatives (promise date updates, Ariba usage, etc.)
Providing regular estimates to suppliers & regular updates to operations
Working with Warehouse to resolve material receipt issues
Operate OSP tracking application
Responsible for lead-times, keeping supplier market shares & using agreed prices
Responsible to resolve invoicing & customs issues (working with on-site customs personnel)
Responsible for procurement follow up and expediting management
Understanding supplier capacities & capabilities
Provide forecast for suppliers based on site specific and global demand
Manage and facilitate daily/weekly conference calls with suppliers
Supporting planners in inventory management
Track & drive cycle time reduction with supplier
Cooperate & support Strategic Sourcing & SQEs
Trigger PO placement and update with Genpact team
Manage COF process with vendors collecting VBBs
Assist in the development of recovery plans with suppliers for defective of unsatisfactory goods,
Assist in maintaining supplier scorecards,
Communicate and make arrangements with impacted departments in all operational vendor related issues,
Manage & monitor transportation requests
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Business or Technical University or College degree.
Relevant experience in materials management, preferably in metal / heavy industry,
Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills in Hungarian,
Good communication level of spoken and written English,
Familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems.
