Seeking a Buyer for a Fortune 500 Company!! Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Analyst to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in managing the supply chain for assigned commodities. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across business units to develop necessary analysis and documentation, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the electronics and HVAC manufacturing industry. Responsibilities + Partner with stakeholder teams across business units such as sales, scheduling, production, customer service, quality, expeditors, global sourcing, finance, shipping/receiving, and engineering to develop analysis and documentation collaboratively. + Manage the supply chain for assigned commodities, including planning, analyzing, procuring, and expediting components to meet sales demands and maintain inventory levels. + Analyze the MRP for inventory control to ensure timely material arrival for production while adhering to monthly inventory dollar goals. + Utilize the SAP system to ensure 100% supplier on-time delivery, sending open order reports to suppliers and confirming order arrivals. + Resolve daily Accounts Payable rejections to ensure timely payments to suppliers. + Work closely with the Quality Department to address supplier quality issues and manage defective material returns for credit. + Assist management with assigned projects as needed. Essential Skills + 5-10+ years of purchasing and expediting experience in the manufacturing sector. + High proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. + Experience with ERP systems such as SAP. + Ability to resolve Accounts Payable issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years' experience as a Buyer/Materials Planner with Accounts Payable resolution experience. + Associate degree with 5+ years' experience as a Buyer/Materials Planner with Accounts Payable resolution experience. + High School degree with 7+ years' experience. + A.S. or B.S. Degree is preferred. + Experience in the electronics industry and metal fabrication commodities. Work Environment The work environment is a corporate office setting where engineering, testing, accounting, and procurement teams are located. The position offers standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, and provides a personal desk or cubicle. After training, there is an option to work remotely one day a week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.50/hr.
