Job Description
This role is responsible for monitoring, managing, planning, and purchasing materials to support the end-to-end supply chain in a fast-paced FDA regulated manufacturing environment. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain operations, with direct interaction with internal and external customers to plan and forecast demand. You will create purchasing schedules, source materials, and monitor inventories to balance operational efficiencies with financial performance. Supporting daily manufacturing operations, marketing requirements, and customer orders, this position plays a vital role in new qualifications, validation, and projects.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support all manufacturing and commercial needs.Adjust delivery dates with suppliers to reflect requirement changes in production schedules and demand.Collaborate with internal and external customers to plan demand, generate forecasts and purchasing schedules, and source materials as needed.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and drive supplier performance to consistently meet target deliverables.Monitor OTD of suppliers monthly and report any trends that may impact manufacturing.Maintain data integrity in the ERP system for accurate ordering and reporting of delivery dates.Perform daily PO maintenance to ensure accurate supplier and product information, delivery locations, pricing, and payment instructions.Monitor open orders daily to ensure material receipts OTIF.Collaborate with Accounts Payable weekly to ensure all POs and invoices are closed and free of issues.Evaluate SS levels and make adjustments as needed based on inventories, lead times, and EOQs.Serve as the first line of defense for quality, pricing, and delivery issues, escalating as necessary.Order materials in compliance with QMS requirements.Work with Supplier Quality to set up new suppliers and materials as needed.Ensure disposition of questionable material is handled appropriately and process debit memos as needed.Monitor inventory of discontinued items to ensure run-out dates and validation plans are on track.Essential SkillsIn-depth knowledge of ERP systems in a Manufacturing/Supply Chain environment.Strong analytical skills.Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.Experience working with products controlled by shelf life.Experience using ERP systems for MRP and inventory management, preferably SAP.5+ years of experience in Pharma, Medical Device, or Biologics industry specifically in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing in a regulated environment.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma theories and principles, Green/Black Belt preferred.Work Environment
The position requires being in the office for four days a week from Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on the other days.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
