Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of working knowledge of procurement, planning, and/or inventory management High School Diploma  Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Access, Word. Must possess strong problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be well organized with attention to detail. Have strong follow up and time management skills. Solid analytical and reasoning abilities as well as strong numerical skills.

The salary range for this position is $50K to $60K. 
 

Works with site planner/vendors to develop and maintain ongoing plans that result in the product supply meeting customer demand. Ensure that the plans are consistent with business objectives and designed to maximize customer service and minimize inventory investment. Ensures company standard procedures are followed in connection with purchases of materials. Analyzes quotations; prepares reviews and edits purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completion; expedites deliveries.  Works to obtain best possible pricing. Enters purchase orders (both original entry and changes) into database (COP and Oracle) using Autoload process or manually, as required; edits accuracy of input data. Follows up with vendors to ensure delivery dates are met; reschedules open items as necessary and performs follow up on the reschedules. Reviews vendor order acknowledgement to confirm accuracy of data. Reconcile any discrepancies. Works with Sales and Quality Assurance group in coordinating vendor approvals. Provides training to other employees on job processes, procedures and functions. Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management. Able to identify opportunities for process improvement Coordinate with IT Department to ensure data accuracy.
