What you will do
Responsible for overseeing contract management and contract analysisMaintain master data set up in the transactional systems, including supplier lead time, supplier details, product details and replenishment methodology (MOQS) Communicate forecast requirements to the supply base for finished goods and/or for components and materialsEnsure all POs are placed according to the rules as agreed with the Account Lead Responsible for the execution and communication of safety stock levels required for raw materials/finished goods to the supply baseReview data from the supplier in terms of accuracy and ensure the information is aligned with the supplier agreement and complies with the Stryker system of recordAct as the first line of contact with suppliers to adjust daily or weekly requirements based on the latest supply plan, and as first point of escalation for supplier issuesReport supplier performance based on standard metrics, prepare and monitor supplier scorecards Communicate phase in/out of new finished goods or raw materials into the organization and ensure timing has been agreed and change is being executed to the agreement Prepare weekly status reports for the demand and supply execution process and represent purchasing function at key meetingsTrack and manage KPIs, including: on time and in full delivery (OTIF), material lead time compliance, PO compression days, PPV, past due invoices and PO’s Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirementsIdentify opportunities and lead continuous improvement projects both externally with the supplier and internally within the purchasing function and with key stakeholdersServe as subject matter expert in purchasing activities and systems. Train and mentor other team members as needed to ensure customer needs are metDemonstrate acumen towards cost, cash flow and risk and problem solve independently to support business needsWhat you need
Degree level in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management Minimum of 3 years experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Manufacturing Knowledge of EnglishExperience with ERP systems ie SAP, Oracle, JDEExcellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint & WordKnowledge of Power BIPrevious experience in supplier relationship managementPrevious experience in medical device or other regulated industryAbility to effectively communicate and present information to suppliers, team members, team leaders, and top managementAbility to build relationships across multiple functions and levels both internally and externallyKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies & cost reduction methodologiesTravel Percentage: None
