Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Butcher Supervisor to oversee the steak and poultry department. This department is a significant contributor to our operations, and we require a candidate with strong meat cutting skills and supervisory experience to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of the processing area.Oversee the cleaning, preparation, and packaging of fruits and vegetables according to proper specifications.Maintain food safety standards and quality guidelines.Facilitate all areas of people/document management including training, corrective actions, attendance, and HACCP/SQF documentation.Ensure sanitation standards are met in daily operations.Develop hourly employees by providing leadership, direction, and support.Responsible for shift start-up and shutdown.Ensure efficient scheduling and production of all orders.Maintain excellent communication with all levels of the organization to ensure the order-fill process.Essential SkillsProven butcher and meat cutting skills.3+ years of work experience in production operations.1+ years of supervisory experience.Bilingual in English/Spanish.Working knowledge of GFSI compliant food safety standards, preferably SQF.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Experience in environments similar to Whole Foods or carnicerias is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role involves working in a cold environment where meat is being cut and packed. The shift is from Sunday to Thursday starting at 2:00 PM, with some flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
