We are currently looking for a BIM Modeler (Building Information Modeler), to join our team!! This position will be based at our Roebuck, SC plant. This position is for a BIM modeler with a passion for Revit Development & BIM workflows. This Position will be involved in the ongoing efforts to advance our digital platforms and customer facing processes through Revit/BIM integration. The focus will be on integrating Revit with existing processes with the long-range goal of replacing 2D AutoCAD with 3D Revit models. The BIM modeler will be expected to work closely with our existing software development and engineering leadership teams to guide the development of integrated solutions for customers utilizing Revit software. This position will partner with sales, engineers, project managers and other technical staff in the preparation of Busway layout designs & Switchboard placement.
Hours: 8am- 5pm
You’ll have an impact by having the following minimum qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or technical field. Minimum 3 years’ experience using Autodesk Revit Experience laying out mechanical equipment (e.g. Busway, Switchboards, duct work, cable tray, HVAC, piping) Preferred experience in deployment of BIM/Revit within consulting firms, and/or actual experience utilizing Revit in the Mechanical design environment. Self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-orientated and technical with an ability to see the big picture Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlinesYou will make impact by:
Responsibilities
Integrate Revit with existing processes with the long-range goal of replacing 2D AutoCAD with 3D Revit models for Busway. Develop training for existing personal & new hires. Manages projects & BIM design development with responsibility for successful execution. Providing support, consultation, and solutions for our internal stakeholder groups and external customer user groups. Identifying, analyzing, and specifying opportunities for best practice workflows utilizing Revit/BIM and our customer facing software. Participation and support in strategy development. Steward the continued development of Revit Family libraries and maintenance. Provide ongoing Revit technical and training support to design and software development teams. Play an active role in the advancement of digital design platforms in collaboration with strategic partners Some travel will be required, but you will also use remote desktop sharing technologies to consult and interact with external customers.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
