Eurofins Food & Feed Testing Hungary is part of the global Eurofins Scientific network, a world leader in food, environment, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic product testing. In Hungary, the Food & Feed Testing division operates through two major laboratories.

We are currently seeking a Site Manager to lead our laboratory based in Budapest — an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, team leadership, and business growth in a dynamic and high-impact environment.

Job Description

The Business Unit Manager – Food & Feed Testing Budapest will have overall responsibility for a team of approximately 90 FTEs. This role is pivotal in driving operational optimization and sustainable growth for the site. The manager will lead cross-functional teams and ensure the lab continues its trajectory toward profitability.

Take full ownership of P&L managementDrive turnaround time (TAT) improvements, automation, and LEAN initiativesManage KPIs to measure and improve the performance of the labConduct service portfolio reviews and support the launch of new tests to meet market needsCollaboration with other laboratories of Eurofins’ network to develop the business

QualificationsEngineering background with proven experience in operations or site management, ideally in a laboratory, production, or industrial settingStrong financial acumen and data-driven mindsetComfortable with client-facing responsibilitiesProactive, hands-on, and results-orientedFluent in Hungarian and English
