HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

In a nutshell:
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Unit Manager to lead and grow our Blood Collection Points business in Tuscany. This role is focused on customer acquisition, volume growth, and commercial performance, and is well suited to candidates coming from retail, service, or customer-facing industries.

What team will you be part of?

You will join the Clinical Italy organization, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The role covers a network of approximately 12 blood collection points across Tuscany, operating primarily in a B2C environment.

As Business Unit Manager – Blood Collection Points, you will:

Drive the commercial performance of the Blood Collection Points Business Unit, with a strong focus on revenue growth and increased customer volumes.

Develop and implement local commercial strategies to attract new customers and strengthen market presence.

Identify and unlock growth opportunities across existing and newly opened locations.

Design and execute customer acquisition initiatives, partnerships, and local visibility actions.

Analyze performance data to prioritize high-impact commercial actions.

Motivate and guide front-line teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Work in close partnership with operations, quality, and laboratory teams to support sustainable growth.

Contribute to the long-term development of the B2C blood collection business.

Qualifications

You are a commercially focused leader with strong business acumen and a passion for growth.

Your profile includes:

Experience in commercial, sales, retail, or service-driven environments.

Proven ability to grow customer volumes and develop local markets.

Exposure to business performance management (KPIs, revenue, margins); P&L exposure is a plus.

Ability to bring fresh commercial ideas from outside the clinical sector.

Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Comfortable working in a multi-site, hybrid role.

Education:

Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (flexible).

Languages:

Fluent Italian (mandatory).

English proficiency is an advantage.

Location:

Based in Tuscany, with good local knowledge and willingness to travel between sites.
