General description of role: The CRM Team Leader (BU Leader) manages client relationships, sets benefits coverage, hits revenue goals, collaborates with internal teams. The scope of insured benefits would extend to Group Medical (Inpatient and Outpatient), Group Accident and Group Life and Travel / Expatriate benefits primarily and Wellbeing initiatives – however other insured benefit plans will also be in scope. Job responsibilities: + Directly accountable for achieving business revenue goals (targets for renewing and acquiring new business) set for the managed business unit. Will lead a team of CRMs to achieve revenue targets through retention & organic growth and cross-sell of existing business and support sales teams to achieve business targets. + Responsible for team hiring, development, mentoring, guiding, and training team of Client Relationship managers (CRMs) for all client stewardship activities delivered in a professional manner. + Will support the team in market strategy, RFP processes and market negotiation to ensure quote competitiveness and closures. + Provide accurate closure and forecast report on monthly, quarterly and end of year business. Role will be required to monitor accuracy of the income booking process & collections reported by their team, including minimizing of reversed incomes and issues around incomplete collections. Maintain the team’s weighted pipeline of all renewal and new business opportunities as per RM-wise target/ budget allocation. + Will train and guide teams to develop consulting expertise and to present and execute all client consulting services including benchmarking, claims reviews and consulting projects. Lead team to develop and implement client's benefits strategy following client's principles for consistent plan execution. + Will need to ensure CRMs lead and conclude all legal documentation like NDA, Broker Services Agreement, SLAs, TOBA and enable / conclude all discussions with the respective legal teams including Aon legal and compliance teams. + Will audit CRMs and collaborate with clients at various levels to grasp their needs thoroughly and guarantee they receive comprehensive advice on all aspects of employee benefits. + Will work with Client services teams (who are a separate team that are responsible for transactional services) to ensure quality delivery of services to clients. + Encourages teamwork by motivating RMs to collaborate with non-HS colleagues, ensuring protocol adherence. + Actively support & lead ‘Delivering Aon United’ (DAU) culture. Collaborate among solution lines by identifying key industries and clients with common focus and potential. Collaborate with non-HS lines to identify and support the pursuit of cross-sell opportunities into non-HS lines (HCS, WS, CRS and RIS). Ensure HS members are added as a team member into the Aon Connect opportunity. + Encourage culture of inter-team collaboration to be assessed via Aon Connect reports and examples of such collaboration including generation of NB opportunities for sales team and specialty teams. Skills/competencies required: + Team management and effective communication and presentation skills + Strong hold on MS Excel and PowerPoint + Solid understanding of the benefits insurance market in India + An IRDAI licentiate certificate / other insurance professional qualification will be an added advantage.
