**Job Description:**
We are looking for a **Business Unit Lead Oncology – Solid Tumors** at J&J Innovative Medicine in Sweden!
As the Business Unit Lead, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the value of our solid tumor portfolio through strategic long- and short-term direction. You will hold end-to-end responsibility for the commercial performance of your therapeutic area, ensuring that the commercial strategy aligns seamlessly with the Integrated Business Value Team (IBVT).
Your leadership will be instrumental in driving and implementing the therapeutic area strategy, as you collaborate and empower a cross-functional team to achieve maximum business impact.
This role reports into the Commercial Lead.
**Your Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the development and implementation of the local brand plan in alignment with the IBVT strategy; including the long-term strategy and tactical implementation as well as a regional and key account planning.
+ Ensure that local customer needs and insights are reflected in the brand strategies and in the go to market strategy for Sweden.
+ Lead the cross-functional therapeutic area team in Sweden, among others consisting of TA lead, HEMAR Managers and External Affairs Managers, with the purpose to discuss and decide upon cross-functional matters and priorities and to ensure maximum business impact.
+ Lead, manage and develop Brand Managers in the therapeutic area to their full potential and ensure optimal utilization, and support development of cross functional team members to their full potential.
+ Drive short- and long-term business results for the therapeutic area through execution of the brand plan, cross-functional collaboration and customer interaction excellence in close collaboration with Brand Manager, Sales Manager and Therapy Area Lead
+ Ensure sharing of best-practices and capture synergies between different therapeutic areas in Sweden as well as within the same therapeutic area across the Nordics.
+ Track and report the business performance, identify deviations and recommend operational and strategic options to improve commercial performance.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as customers, patient groups and policy makers, to continuously monitor the external environment and identify opportunities and threats as well as responding with appropriate action.
+ Participate, where applicable, in the IBVT co-create to develop the EMEA brand strategy.
**Required knowledge, skills & experience:**
+ A degree in natural sciences, business administration, or related fields.
+ 8-10 years of relevant work experience in commercial roles, specifically in marketing and sales, with a minimum of 2 years in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry.
+ Proven experience in people leadership and talent development.
+ Experience managing budgets effectively.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
+ High proficiency in spoken and written English.
+ A team player with excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing and interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Ability to balance strategic foresight with operational excellence.
+ Competence in recognizing market complexities and taking decisive actions to promote compliance and drive business results.
+ Ability to evaluate trade-offs between potential costs and benefits and make informed decisions accordingly.
+ Capacity to work effectively in a multicultural, virtual, matrix environment, leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
+ Adherence to directions, policies, and legal guidelines.
+ Proficient in guiding and providing feedback to optimize individual and group performance.
+ Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
