What will this role do?

1) The role will lead the Respiratory & Immunology and Vaccines & Immune Therapies Business Unit for Thailand, being responsible for all sales and marketing activities, driving commercial performance, and managing the P&L.

2) Leveraging global strategies, the BUD will develop localized strategies & plans, which are anchored on customer insights, and ensure effective execution across the country, including implementation of omnichannel programs.

3) The role is required to utilize a deep understanding of the TA ecosystems, patient journeys, customer needs, and payer needs to shape the environment, deliver success across the portfolio, and maximize new growth opportunities, as well as ensure flawless execution of the sales team and ensure appropriate KPI tracking.

4) Other responsibilities include:

Providing expert insight and direction across the portfolio to ensure that all launches and line extensions are expertly managed to deliver success.Inspiring the team to develop and utilize patient and customer insights, challenging and innovating within their roles and the wider AZ environment to ensure that AZ delivers innovative medications to patients.Building and maintaining strong external relationships with healthcare professionals, payors, and patient groups.Developing capabilities in the team and building a robust succession pipelineBeing a member of the local leadership team.

Essential for the role:

Robust pharmaceutical experience in TA, including in-market experience in marketing and sales management roles.Previous experience of P&L management for a TA • Proven success in launching products into competitive environmentsExcellent leadership capabilities in leading and developing teams, including succession planningStrong track record of leading and developing cross-functional teamsInternational or regional experience. Proven ability to interact with and influence regional and global internal stakeholdersGood understanding of Account Planning and Customer Engagement program and processesHigh performer and results-oriented • Good knowledge of market ethical rulesAmbition and motivation for future leadership rolesA Bachelor’s Degree is Desirable for the rolePrevious experience in other functional areas of the business, such as Commercial Operations, Medical, or Market AccessGood understanding of local country healthcare systems, including pricing and reimbursementPrevious experience in other Therapeutic areas • Both Specialty Care and Primary Care experienceOmnichannel experience • Excellent to communicate in Thai & EnglishMBA in relevant field
