The Role:  Business Systems Officer

Join a high-impact team driving smarter processes, better systems, and continuous improvement across the Above Water Systems business. In this role, you’ll uncover business needs, shape system solutions, and ensure IT and improvement initiatives deliver real, measurable outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead workshops with stakeholders to capture, analyse and refine business requirementsSupport the AWS Improvement Manager across schedules, budgets, risks and improvement activitiesBenchmark across Maritime and broader Thales functions to identify and convert performance opportunitiesAct as SME for key system enhancements, advising on impacts and implementationManage stakeholder engagement and clear communication across internal and external partnersEnhance customer experience by ensuring solutions exceed expectations and deliver value

Your Skills:

Degree in business, engineering, project management (or equivalent experience)Strong ability to engage, influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groupsProven capability in delivering effective business improvement solutionsDemonstrated contribution to high-performing and constructive team culturesStrong internal stakeholder management within a matrix organisationAbility to analyse processes and translate needs into practical system outcomes

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Experience leading IT deliverablesSharePoint or similar collaboration toolsERP and financial management system understandingProcess mapping and analysis capability
