Business Systems Manager II Financial Systems Operations
**Job Description** The Finance Operations organization is seeking a seasoned leader to drive financial systems operational excellence and spearhead a multi-year program finance systems implementation project. As a key team member, you will be responsible for overseeing financial systems operations support activities, managing a team, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This strategic role will utilize your program finance and business systems expertise to optimize financial systems, processes, and programs, ultimately driving business success and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth. **What You ll Do:** + Systems Operational Excellence: + Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to oversee daily management of financial tools and applications, ensuring effectiveness, compliance, and accuracy. + Provide configuration, administration, and financial reporting development support for financial systems, driving efficient and reliable operations. + Support critical business cycles, including financial monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. + Lead system change control board activities, facilitating change control processes, documentation, and implementation of changes to minimize risk and ensure seamless system operations. + Drive process improvements through enhancement, automation, and analysis of financial processes for systems solutions, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. + Participate in system upgrades, testing, and patch management to ensure reliable system functionality, data integrity, and business reporting needs. + Systems Implementation for Program Finance. As a Business Lead on a multi-year Project Portfolio Management PPM implementation project, you will: + Define Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and goals. + Provide Program Finance Business Subject Matter Expertise: Liaise between business and technical teams on requirements, processes, and data. + Lead Project Scheduling and Resources: Partner with ITS project manager to meet milestones and objectives. + Develop, Test, and Deploy Solutions: Collaborate on development, testing, and go-live readiness. + Ensure Adoption and Benefits Realization: Assist with the development of training plans, managing change, and measuring benefits. + Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. + Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. + Perform other duties as necessary. **On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site three or more days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. **Working Conditions:** + Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** BS/BA in related field plus 10 years or more related experience. + Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. + A current, active Secret security clearance is required with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI. + 10 years or more experience in Aerospace and Defense (A&D) or similar government contracting environment. + 4 years or more of experience in people leadership, with a proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams. + Experience in Project Controls, Financial Reporting and/or Financial Planning & Analysis with FAR, DFARS, and CAS understanding. + Systems and tools Implementation or upgrade experience. + TS/SCI Security Clearance, or ability to obtain. + Excellent communication skills. + Solid financial acumen related to program finance in a government contracting environment including the understanding of Financial Forecasting, Earned Value Management, and Cost Control practices. + Proven experience in process improvement and project management. + Experience in financial systems, data analysis, and report development. + Solid leadership and management skills, with the ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent + Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization. + Ability to analyze complex business and technical processes and develop creative solutions. \#LI-LO1 **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Tool knowledge: + Deltek Costpoint. + EcoSys or CORA. + Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI. + Advanced degree. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
