Our goal is to create an environment where we all win with precision. **Your Career** The Business Systems Specialist is a member of the Business Systems Team within the Central Ops Organization. This role helps to ensure systemic accuracy & usability of our sales tools. Primary sales tools to be supported will include, but not be limited to Salesforce, Clari, People.ai, ClosePlan, and Callidus Commissions. **Your Impact** + The primary areas of focus for this role will be: + Act as a liaison between IT Development and business functions to drive system enhancements to completion through business requirement gathering, documentation, prioritization, and testing in an Agile environment. + Resolve Tier 2 support requests driving to timely resolution for the end user + Demonstrate thorough understanding on role hierarchy, forecast hierarchy and territory hierarchy + Troubleshoot and resolve tier 2 tickets from sales users related to Salesforce, sales forecasting, and other sales tools + Drive all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction through timely follow-up, attention to detail, and cross functional collaboration with IT and other team members + Work closely with the company’s Subject Matter Experts and IT to research & resolve issues related to Salesforce & Clari + Partner with Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, and our Revenue Acceleration team to understand business requirements for systemic enhancements and then partner closely with IT Development for execution through an Agile environment + Perform business requirement gathering, documentation, prioritization, and testing in an Agile environment + Conduct change management for related system enhancements + Project Manage and provide direct support to Merger & Acquisition related Salesforce changes + Utilize business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements + Balance relationships with multiple business teams for new solution features and technical support + Perform regular SFDC data audits to ensure accuracy within the system + Assist in scheduled maintenance of the systems via data migrations + Assist with documentation of best practices and usage **Your Experience** + **9+ years of professional experience** in system and tools support, with a strong background in Salesforce. + Salesforce certification is highly preferred, though not mandatory. + Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, terminology, and best practices, with particular focus on **data security** . + Proven **hands-on experience with sales forecasting tools** and supporting sales teams with system and tool enablement. + Experience working in **sales environments and sales processes** is a strong advantage. + Skilled in **driving system and process changes in Agile environments** , collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. + Demonstrated ability to **train and enable sales users** on new Salesforce functionalities and system enhancements. + Strong experience with **data extraction, mass updates, and bulk operations** using tools like **Workbench and Data Loader** . + Ability to manage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical internal/external customers and vendors. + Solid knowledge of **ServiceNow, JIRA, Anaplan, and SOQL** is a plus. + Excellent **time management, problem-solving, and communication skills** with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences. + Recognized as a **quick learner** who thrives in fast-paced environments. + Strong **team player with a service-oriented and customer-first mindset** . + Demonstrated commitment to **continuous learning, flexibility, quality, and relationship-building** . **The Team** Our Strategy & Operations team at Palo Alto Networks works on a set of strategic initiatives to drive process improvement projects to deliver improved efficiency and scale through simplification, automation and innovation across Sales Operations tools and processes.
