It introduces new technology and processes to advance the strategic Finance Technology Roadmap architecture in the collection, governance, distribution and reporting of data. As the Business System Consultant, you are a senior member of the Data Insights and Solutions Team who play a key role in managing the relationship with senior members of various Finance, Technology departments and external vendors to drive changes through the delivery of change initiatives and assigned project in application assessment, requirements gathering, solution design and re-engineering to deploy new functionalities and to capitalize on new processing opportunities. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How You’ll Succeed** + **Project Delivery** - Deliver key requirement, design and solution on projects as well to provide thought leadership on data integration and delivery for the overall project. Serve as the Lead on projects to assess data/processing gaps, gather requirements and design new processing opportunities. + **Reporting** - Manage the critical daily and monthly reporting processes, working closely with various senior stakeholders across the bank to ensure that information is collected, consolidated and reported while maintaining data integrity throughout the entire process. + **Training/Advisory** - Provide advisory and training to Finance users on the adoption and proper use of the new business applications. Act as a change agent in deploying new functionalities and major releases, including the management of new user base integration and change management. + **Leadership** - Effectively supervise and develop junior staff, and foster an environment conducive to learning, in the absence of the direct manager. **Who You Are** + **You can demonstrate** 3 or more years of experience as a business analysis or relevant industry experience. You have comprehensive knowledge of project development life cycle, workflow automation or data visualization tools / platforms with the ability to interpret complex regulatory, statutory and financial requirements sufficiently to advise on the department of the impact on data and reporting requirements. You also have detailed working knowledge of specified industries within the Technology and Innovation space, and an understanding of emerging technologies. In addition, you have strong communication and presentation skills sufficient to clearly articulate complex conceptual information and ideas. You have strong interpersonal and team skills and are comfortable working in a cross-border, multi-cultural, team-based environment. + **You have a degree** in Computer Science, Business, Finance or Accounting or an equal combination of education and industry experience. + **You give meaning to data** .
