Schwab is recruiting to hire a driven, results-oriented Business Systems Analyst/Scrum Lead who shares our passion for technology, innovation, and excellence. You will be part of the Risk Technology team and will help design, develop, and support the Schwab Risk platform is part of the Schwab Technology Services (STS) organization which is responsible for the company’s use of information technology including all telecommunications, operations and client and business applications. Investments, Credit and Trading Technology.

 The candidate will work with development team of .NET engineers and responsible for Investment lifecycle solutions in Financial Risk Technology.

 We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

 Essential Functions:

 The Scrum Lead will have hands-on role in managing the Scrum process within technology teams.  They help their teams adopt and improve on the Scrum methodology.  They coach their teams to higher levels of maturity by continually improving their process and ensuring that they adhere to the Scrum framework. They serve as the Scrum framework authority for their teams and evangelize and educate their teams on, not only the process, but the benefits of following the process.

 As a Business Systems Analyst you will work with dedicated teams to deliver business value through their development and delivery execution.  He / She will facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.  They evangelize, demonstrate, and live the Agile

What you will do

 Act as a Scrum Master for up to 2-3 Agile teams simultaneously.Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the team by encouraging them to adopt and mature good Scrum processes according to the Scrum Guide.Organize and facilitate effective Scrum meetings: backlog grooming, Sprint planning, daily Scrum, Sprint review, and Sprint retrospective.Gather, define and prioritize business requirements and ensure those requirements are clearly translated into technical specifications for configuration & custom features development with Corporate Credit Research team.Directly engage with business and technical teams, product owners, stakeholders at various levels to implement in CATS2 application.Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with CATS2 develop team members and stakeholders.Work with and coach Product Owners to develop, manage, and continuously groom the team’s product backlog.In partnership with the Product Owner, track and communicate to Stakeholders information such as team velocity, Sprint/release progress, impediments, team successes, etc.In coordination with Project Managers, facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration when projects require it.Assist Product Owners and Development team with planning and grooming activities. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree of any discipline3+ years of experience as a Scrum Lead in a software development environment preferably involving cross-team dependencies2+ years of experience as a BSA, owning and managing customer expectations, project schedules, status and reporting and change managementSolve problems and provide support, taking responsibility to make decisions when appropriateGood knowledge of Agile ceremonies and sprint/PA planningExperience with Microsoft suite and AtlassianTrack and manage dependencies across lines of business and platforms.Convey potential risks to deadlines, data, security, and project deliveries to all the stake holders.Excellent relationship management and mediation skills, with a knack for weighing multiple stakeholder perspectives and driving timely and effective decision-makingSuperior communication skills, able to communicate & translate complex requirements and assert positively

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 1 additional methodology besides ScrumPrior experience using JiraExperience working in a highly regulated environmentExperience working in a financial services organizationComfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethicExperience in leading and directing a technology scrum teamHigh emotional intelligence to embody our ‘through the client’s eyes’ mindset and ability to guide people through challenging projects and initiativesAbility to listen and encourage thoughts, opinion, and discussions where neededTeam player with strong collaborative qualities and a positive demeanor
