Business Systems Analyst-Commerce & CPQ

The Business Systems Analyst partners with business stakeholders to serve as the primary contact for answering questions about how digital commerce and CPQ ecosystems function from both a business and technical perspective. This role translates business requirements into technical specifications and partners with capability team members to develop logical technical processes. The analyst acts as a proxy product owner and can represent priority and business needs in the absence of the product owner. This role focuses on supporting and enhancing digital commerce, pricing, and quoting capabilities to meet overall business needs. **_*This is not a remote role, the ideal candidate will need to be located in Wisconsin, due to this position being on-site and reporting into our Waukesha Headquarters*_** **Major Responsibilities** + Plays an integral role in the overall success of digital commerce and CPQ initiatives by ensuring solution accuracy and timeliness. + Drives solution design that meets current and emerging business requirements. + Identifies requirements by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. + Documents requirements in the form of epics and user stories. + Works with Product Owners to define, prioritize, and manage digital commerce and CPQ projects and initiatives. + Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions. + Helps business leaders clarify their objectives and expectations for digital innovation efforts. + Partners with solution architects to provide scalable and adaptable architectural solutions. + Maintains system protocols and development standards by documenting solution design and both business and technical processes. + Prepares technical reports and dashboards by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends using tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. + Develops and maintains standards and guidelines to ensure a consistent digital experience across platforms. + Ensures CPQ and commerce needs are met in compliance with agreed-upon business and technical standards. + Mentors and acts as a resource to less experienced analysts. + Plans, assigns, and monitors day-to-day and project tasks for offshore team members. + Improves processes by determining, investigating, and resolving system usability and performance issues, and by defining ongoing optimization procedures. **Minimum Job Requirements** **Education** + Bachelors degree or equivalent experience **Work Experience** + 5 years of experience working with customer-facing digital experiences **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities** + Experience using agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. + Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) **Preferred Job Requirements** **Education** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science **Work Experience** + 5 years of experience working with customer-facing digital experiences, including e-commerce and/or CPQ platforms. + Hands-on experience with SAP, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM platforms. + Experience working with cross-functional and global teams. + Knowledge of ERP systems and pricing processes. + Familiarity with quote-to-cash and CPQ-related workflows. **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities** + Knowledge of SAP processes (e.g., OTC, PTP, PTM, RTR, SLM). + Ability to develop and apply digital commerce and CPQ best practices. + Demonstrated ability to lead complex, strategic, and operational initiatives. + Recognized subject matter expertise in enterprise systems and digital commerce. **Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
