Business Systems Analyst
ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our applications analyst team is focused on maintaining existing applications and modernizing our tech stack to support the constant growth and daily needs of the Skechers business.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Business Systems Analyst to drive forward key initiatives and provide deliverables to business stakeholders using SDLC methodologies. As a BSA, you will analyze custom tools like our sales enablement application and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various enterprise SaaS applications like our Contract Lifecycle Management and Document Management System. Your contribution towards Enterprise Applications will provide efficient solutions for business objectives and user needs. This includes working with stakeholders, analyzing system problems, creating systems solutions, writing business/technical specifications and conducting quality assurance testing to implement computer systems requirements. You will also review, analyze and report on data from multiple internal and external sources.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Business Analysis & Requirements Definition

Interacts directly with stakeholders (including executives) to gather business needs, input and output requirements, and evaluate processes and procedures.Interprets business requirements in order to determine solutions that meet user needs.Writes detailed business requirement documents, functional, technical, and integration specifications for use by developers.Creates workflow process diagrams, wireframes, mapping documents, ERDs, use cases, user stories, logical data models, and develops application documentation for record keeping and knowledge sharing.Research business problems and develops models to analyze and define effective solutions.Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing systems solutions to business objectives

Process Improvement & Solution Design

Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through systems and/or non-system changes.Identifies opportunities for automation and process efficiency using existing and new technologies.Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing solutions to business objectives.

Project & Change Management

Ensures that all projects and deliverables are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Performs risk management and escalates issues to management as needed.Develops and maintains detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation matrices.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

Monitors project progress against milestones and proactively identifies potential roadblocks or dependencies.Manages project scope changes through formal change control processes and impact assessments.Partners with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Digital, etc.) to align technology solutions with business strategy.Coordinates resource allocation and manages competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.Coordinates with SaaS and third-party vendors for issue resolution, product enhancements, and release managementEvaluates vendor roadmaps and release notes to anticipate system changes or impacts.Tracks and reports on project metrics, KPIs, and deliverable quality to ensure continuous improvement.Facilitates stakeholder communication through regular status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.Provides change management and training support for end users and maintains training documentation.

Testing, Validation & Support

Validates results through quality assurance testing and coordinates user-acceptance testing.Provides production support for business end users and IT stakeholders.Performs data analysis using data from various platforms for cleansing, mass updates, and report creation.Uses JIRA/Confluence to document requirements, workflows, issues, and test cases.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Communicates articulately and succinctly with stakeholders and IT partnerCreates executive-facing summaries, presentations, and other forms of communication to report on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (Equivalent experience is acceptable).5+ years of work experience in business systems analysis.Experience supporting full Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles (including understanding business processes, gathering user requirements, design, testing, deployment, and training).Knowledge and hands-on creation of key artifacts including use cases, user stories, workflows, user acceptance criteria, configuration stories, business/functional/technical specifications, timelines, roadmaps, Gantt charts and presentations.Experience in triaging application issues for multiple systems.Experience in API integrations and data migration/data conversion, preferred.Advanced analytical capability, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Must have ability to communicate, motivate and organize projects throughout the company.Must have ability to work independently and handle end-to-end projects.Intermediate SQL knowledge and experience, preferred.Advanced experience in Jira, Confluence, Excel, Alteryx preferred.Experience implementing and supporting a Contract Lifecycle Management platform, preferred

The pay range for this position is $110,000-$140,000/yr USD.
