GDIT is seeking a Business Systems Analyst – Data Management to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Corporate Information Systems to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Support Services of their Corporate Business Systems (CBSOM). As the Business Systems Analyst – Data Management supporting the DOE Integrated Data Warehouse (IDW) and iPortal.

Collaborating with project sponsors to determine project scope and visionWorking with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirementsResearching, reviewing, and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and developing strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processesPerforming acceptance testing of new features, validating requirements are fulfilled and the resulting user experience is as designedPerforming system analysis and system development tasksParticipating in the QA of solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimizedTranslating conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project teamCreating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project teamDeveloping and conducting peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpretedManaging and tracking the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessaryPossessing excellent English written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare and conduct presentations and prepare training material as required

Bachelor’s degree in Comp. Sci., Bus. Admin, Mgt, Accounting or other related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience. Without a degree 4-5 years of relevant experience is required.Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given timeAbility to work with system owners, business owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system`In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-makingExperience driving continuous improvement of business processes and technical operations. Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to business leadersMust be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingUS CitizenshipPreferred qualifications (optional)Experience with ServiceNow for incident management, problem management, and service request managementFunctional or technical experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX) platform
