Job Summary Assists in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business/clinical system and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies information systems in specific tools. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary in collaboration with experienced IT staff. Competent to consider most business system/clinical implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Provides input for feasibility studies, consideration of budget constraints, some priority decisions, resolution of development issues, system impact analysis. Develops technical knowledge of system parameters, tables, profiles, and data.
