We currently have an exciting opportunity to temporarily join the NCR Business Operations team in Contracts Business Support. This position is in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The Business Support summer student will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of business activities across NCR Business Operations. This position is also responsible for communications and administrative work as needed.
Mentoring and guidance will be provided by the Director of Business Operations as well as senior members of the Business Operations Team. The candidate will be expected to exhibit growth and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision in fairly short order.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Support improvements to Inter Business Unit agreements.
•Assist the Workforce manager (CRM, Resumes, data entry, reporting, etc)
•Member Support (RM Tool, Proposals, Resumes)
•Assist the proposal team in administrative activities and process improvements.
•Conduct requested quality checks, proofreading, editing and reviewing draft contracts, service descriptions, brochures, presentation materials
•Provide general team support

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Business Administration or other applicable education.
•MS Office skills including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
•Practical, efficient and responsive; excellent communication and organization skills
•Able to juggle multiple priorities, anticipates issues and initiate appropriate action
•Professional and polite - resilient to stress and able to perform under pressure
•Flexibility to work independently as well as in a team
Nice to have
•Government of Canada Security Clearance
•French language skills
•Experience with Information and Communications Technology
